Amazing garden instillation by the talented Zita Elze.
On Sunday the 10th of January I was teleported to the land of Indian wedding dreams aka the Aashni & Co Wedding Show. Today I'll be sharing my experience with you guys in this blog post as well as in a vlog, so if you'd like to see my full journey please click here or on the video below (My wedding show experience starts at 10:13)
This years wedding show started off with a bang as we had the chance to interview and speak to the designers before the event started. After talking to the designers I couldn't help but feel inspired, the way they talked about their work with such passion was amazing. Not only that but the designers themselves were extremely kind and humble, taking time to talk to us all and even cracking a few jokes.
This year they had an amazing line up with some of the designers in attendance! Anamika Khanna, Anju Modi, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Varun Bahl, Akanksha Gajria, Ridhima Bhasin, Gaurav Gupta, Masaba, Rimple Narula, Samant Chauhan, Faraz Manan, Sonali Gupta and Paras Modi of SVA.
After the press action we were free to look around and have fun. Seeing the clothes up close was a magical experience, while the photos and videos look amazing actually seeing them in person is something else. The details and colours come to life and blow you away. Not only that but you were allowed to try on outfits and talk to the designers themselves which made the experience even more magical. The Aashni & Co Wedding Show was every bride's fairy godmother!
And don't forget you can visit Aashni & Co in London with two floors of haute couture, ready-to-wear collections, jewellery and accessories all the way from India! www.aashniandco.com
